By booking any service with Stormland Productions (“Stormland,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you (“the Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all demo reel packages, including but not limited to The Buddy Reel and Demo In A Day.

1. Scope of Services

Stormland Productions provides custom-written, professionally produced demo reel scenes for actors. Services may include script development, casting of acting supports, rehearsal sessions, on-set direction, filming, and post-production editing.

All services are creative in nature. While we strive for excellence, artistic outcomes are inherently subjective and not guaranteed.

2. Booking & Payment

• Full payment or a required deposit must be received to secure your booking.

• No shoot dates, writing, casting, or rehearsals are confirmed until payment is received.

• Prices are subject to change at any time and apply based on the rate at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation, Refunds & Credits

Refund Policy

• Within 48 hours of purchase:
  You are entitled to a 100% refund, no questions asked.

• After 48 hours of purchase and more than 14 days before your scheduled shoot:
  You may cancel entirely or reduce your package and receive a 50% refund of the corresponding payment(s).

• Within 14 days of your scheduled shoot date:
  All payments are non-refundable, including for removed scenes.
  However, the paid amount may be issued as a credit toward a future Stormland Productions package.

Credits

• Credits must be used within 12 months of issue.

• Credits are applied to current pricing at the time of rebooking.

• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.

4. Scene Count Changes (Multi-Scene Packages)

If you book a multi-scene package and later choose to remove a scene:

• The same refund policy outlined above applies to the removed portion.

• Scenes are custom-written, cast, and scheduled in advance. Reductions may affect production planning and creative scope.

5. The Buddy Reel — Additional Terms

• Buddy Reel pricing requires two confirmed participants.

• If one participant withdraws:

  • The remaining actor may replace the buddy without penalty if done at least 14 days before filming, provided no script rewrites are required.

  • If scripts must be rewritten, a rewrite fee of $200 per scene will apply to retain the original shoot date.

• If no replacement is secured, Stormland reserves the right to:

  • Convert the booking to a solo package at current rates, or

  • Issue a credit for future use.

• Stormland is not responsible for disputes or disagreements between buddy participants.

6. Scriptwriting & Revisions

• Scripts are written to suit the actor’s casting type and the logistical scope of the package purchased.

• Each scene includes a limited number of revisions, determined at Stormland’s discretion.

• Major rewrites, late changes, or new creative directions requested after scripts are finalized may incur additional fees or require rescheduling.

• Stormland retains final creative control over all scripts.

7. Casting of Acting Supports

• Acting supports are cast at Stormland’s discretion based on availability, suitability, and production needs.

• Acting supports are not guaranteed to be union performers or recognizable talent.

• Dissatisfaction with acting supports does not constitute grounds for refunds or reshoots.

8. Rehearsals & Coaching

• Rehearsals are conducted via Zoom and are limited in number and duration based on the package booked.

• Rehearsals must be scheduled and used prior to the shoot date.

• Coaching and direction are professional creative services and do not guarantee bookings, representation, or career outcomes.

9. Shoot Day Expectations

• Clients are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and with lines learned.

• Shooting time lost due to lateness, lack of preparation, or wardrobe issues is not refunded.

• Minimum shoot times refer to on-set shooting time and do not include setup, lighting, or breaks.

• Overtime is not guaranteed and may incur additional fees.

10. Post-Production & Delivery

• Edited demo footage is typically delivered within 2–4 weeks of filming.

• Delivery timelines may vary due to production volume, illness, or technical issues.

• “Delivery” refers to the final edited scenes unless otherwise stated.

• Raw footage is not included unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

11. Creative Satisfaction

Stormland Productions does not offer refunds based on:

• Subjective dissatisfaction with performance, writing, direction, or editing

• Creative differences

• Changes in personal branding preferences after filming

By booking, you acknowledge that creative services involve interpretation and collaboration.

12. Usage Rights & Promotion

• Clients may use delivered footage for personal promotional purposes (demo reels, casting submissions, websites, and social media).

• Stormland Productions retains the right to use finished footage and behind-the-scenes material for:

  • Portfolio use

  • Website

  • Social media

  • Marketing and promotional purposes

• No compensation is owed for such use.

13. Rescheduling, Studios & Force Majeure

• Studio space, crew, and casting are booked in advance.

• Rescheduling is not guaranteed once a shoot date is confirmed.

• Stormland reserves the right to substitute studios or crew when necessary.

• Stormland is not liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including illness, extreme weather, power outages, or government restrictions.

14. Limitation of Liability

Stormland Productions’ liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered. Stormland is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of career opportunities.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any Stormland Productions service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
