Tamika is an Australian-born acting screenwriter living in Vancouver. After winning a university filmmaking competition, she deferred her law degree and enrolled at the Australian Film, Television, and Radio School. Upon graduating, Tamika assumed a senior role facilitating the creation and development of written content for a variety of storytelling mediums by a diverse group of writers from around the world.

In 2024, she was selected for Screenwork’s Career Pathways program where she got her second taste of a writer’s room for Jungle Entertainment’s series Good Cop, Bad Cop starring Leighton Meester.

Now, Tamika continues to focus on her independent projects in BC while contributing her writing skills to acting studios and local production companies. Her acting experience enriches her writing process by organically infusing emotional depth and creating a meaningful connection between the actor and the material.
