- Hayley Gray

Hayley Gray is a Vancouver-based writer, director, producer and film programmer (DGC). She is a graduate of Dalhousie University and Vancouver Film School and has written and directed scripted, documentary and commercial work. Hayley’s work has won awards at festivals around the world aired on Telus Optik, Knowledge Network, CBC and AMI.

Hayley’s NFB produced documentary UNARCHIVED premiered at VIFF, and examines how to make erased histories as researchable and accessible and the dominant historical record. She has had the privilege of creating three of Historica Canada’s latest Heritage Minutes.  Her short film SEND THE RAIN premiered on CBC, won the Golden Egg at the Reykjavik International Film Festival, the Golden Sheaf at Yorkton Film Festival and the DGC Short Film Award.

She continues her work as the senior shorts programmer at the Whistler Film Festival and this fall she will premiere her feature SEND THE RAIN funded by Telefilm Canada, Canadian Media Fund and Crave.
