- Ana Pacheco
Ana is a Vancouver based writer who studied screenwriting at Langara College of Film Arts in 2015. Since then, she has been penning scripts of various genres, but mostly specializing in slice of life and comedy. With a deep understanding of the human psyche and what makes people tick, she enjoys writing character driven stories and finding the absurd in the minutiae. She has written and produced several shorts and sketches that have gone on to tour the world.
Her dark comedy short “The Star of Therapy,” played at numerous festivals including Queens World Film Festival, VAFF, and was nominated for Best Comedy at Yorkton Film Festival in 2020.
In 2022 she cowrote a short film, “Grandma Lee’s Dress,” inspired by her Asian family history, which debuted at the Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon and went on to secure a spot in the top 3 films for Season 16 of CBC’s Short Film Face Off.
Looking to expand her creative works, she is currently working on writing her third feature film. Ana is excited to team up with Stormland Productions to craft meaningful scenes for emerging actors!
