Alex Rivers is an award-winning writer from Vancouver, Canada. He is currently the showrunner’s assistant on TRINITY for Netflix. Previously he was an assistant on the Emmy winning series SHOGUN for FX and has worked under directors Barry Sonnenfeld, Brian Levant, as well as actors Mark Ruffalo, Kurt Russell, and Noah Centineo. Alex received his MFA in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts where he was named an Annenberg fellow in his final year. Alex is the feature winner of the 2023 ScreenCraft Sci-Fi and Fantasy screenwriting competition and the 2024 Emerging Screen Writers Action & Adventure screenwriting contest.
